Oh, hey.

Hello! Yeah, I haven't blogged in awhile. I've been busy-ish. And. Distracted. YES.

BUT. I was talking to the lovely Possum, and we agreed that we should both hop back on the blogging everyday wagon! So. I've climbed back aboard for the moment. We'll see how long it lasts.

The other day I went to a used bookstore. There were blank books there. As in, journals. I've looked at these before, and sometimes they aren't so blank. There's often a bit of writing in the front, which is extremely interesting, in my opinion. And there was this one Harry Potter journal that really caught my interest. First of all, the cover has shields with all of the houses on it, which is cool! But. MORE THAN THAT. In the front, there's this drawing of a boy. He has hair that sticks up, glasses, and ears that poke out. And then on the first page, it says Derek Almonte.

Earlier this month, I decided that I was going to do NaNo. But. Upon closer examination of my scheduled events (homework assignments that are due, trips I want to take home, etc), I decided that it'd be a really dumb idea. However, I knew that I wanted to do SOME TYPE of writing project in November. Even if it was just story planning, and a bit of writing.

And then I found this journal! I am going to fill it with stories about Derek Almonte and plot outlines for stories about him and such. It should be fun, I think!

AND. I'm going to copy some of them onto here for your reading entertainment. Because then I'd be killing two birds with one stone in that I wouldn't have to think of a blogging topic for that day. So. Coming in November. The tales of Derek Almonte! It should be fun. I've already thought of some stuff to do with him. :)

Anyway. I should get to my stacks of homework now. I've put it off long enough, what with this and Chuck. CHUCK WAS AWESOME TONIGHT, BY THE WAY. In case you were wondering. #fangirlmoment
